Oggi leggo l'annuncio di una offerta di lavoro di una importante azienda multinazionale.
Insomma per fare la receptionist ormai è necessario avere uno dei seguenti titoli:
Lauree in : Lingue e Letterature Straniere, Scienze Politiche, Lettere.
Con tutto il solito rispetto per la categoria, ma veramente serve laurearsi per fare questo mestiere? Boh, illuminatemi, ve ne prego.

A quanto vedo la condizione dei laureati è sempre più difficile oggi in Italia! Io sono lauerata in Scienze della Comunicazione,e, a un anno dalla laurea, ho solo trovato uno stage. In bocca al lupo a tutti comunque!!!

E' evidente che il mercato del lavoro in italia è completamente dissestato, ma è altrettanto evidente che esistono fuori confine grandi opportunità di carriera e benessere.
Chi dice di non trovare il coraggio di andarsene, o di voler restare per qualsivoglia motivo mente a se stesso! La verità, dure da digerire, è che
la maggior parte degli ingegneri italiani si laurea fuori corso, diciamolo pure, per limiti personali, per deficit motivazionale e di talento arrivando alla laurea spinti per anni dalle famiglie. 8 anni (magari!) di studi ingegneristici affinerebbero l'ingegno a chiunque... E all 'estero vogliono i talenti.
Le persone di talento se ne sono già andate, e quei pochi ostinati che sono rimasti occupano delle posizioni rispettabile sebbene malpagate.
So di diventare impopolare, ma diciamolo pure, esistono poi dei corsi di Laurea ridicoli! laurearsi in corso con lode in corsi di laurea di questo tipo non fa di nessuno delle persone di talento.
Ciascuno di noi si chieda:
1)Che corso di laurea ho frequentato? è un corso di alto livello (ex: Ingegneria, giurisprudenza, medicina, economia, fisica, ...)
2)Mi sono laureato in corso?
3)Ho avuto un voto alto?
4)Conosco bene una lingua europea a parte L'italiano (bene significa poter sostenere un colloquio all estero senza dover continuamente interrompere il selezionatore perchè non si è capito!)
Chi risponde, no a una più, ed è disperatamente alla ricerca di un buon lavoro, deve comunque fare una riflessione seria e pensare che forse l'università non faceva per lui... e che sta scontando i deficit di cui sopra.
Non difendo il sistema italiano che ho già denunciato essere dissestato, ma la massificazione della laurea non ha aiutato di certo.

Manca un serio orientamento iniziale, ma forse il "problema" (che può essere a seconda del punto di vista un pregio", è che in Italia non siamo abituati a muoverci, stiamo bene nella nostra città, e poi c'è la famiglia, la mamma, etc..
Dico questo perchè so che i giovani negli altri paesi, grazie forse a condizioni economiche migliori, se ne escono da casa molto prima, sono indipendenti già durante gli studi a volte.
D'altra parte però, non mi sembra neppure corretto (ma ahimè la situazione è quella che è), che uno non possa pensare di lavorare per quello che ha studiato nella sua regione. Ossia, dare per ovvio che uno che si laurea debba per forza andare in un altro stato o a vivere nell'hinterland milanese, è già un segno della disfatta. A quel punto ti dò ragione: meglio non limitare l'accesso all'università..perchè veramente stiamo spendendo (poco comunque) per istruire persone che poi vanno all'estero.
Altro problema non secondario:
Spiegatami come fanno le aziende italiane a non decollare con a disposizione una forza lavoro altamente qualificata, a bassissimo costo. Un vantaggio vertginoso rispetto ad altre realtà come Svizzera, Germania, Belgio dove i professionisti costano.
Probabilmete la classe dirigente/imprenditoriale italiana soffre della stessa mancanza di talento! Il tessuto imprenditoriale italiano è costituito per la maggiorparte da imprese medio piccole che non riescono a crescere solo per la mancanza di manager di talento che riescano a traghettare le aziende verso uno sviluppo reale.
Tali aziende, di fatto sopravvivono solo grazie ai salari al limite della povertà pagati ai loro dipendenti.
Bisogna creare un ambiente altamente competitivo che UCCIDA le aziende "scarse" e come in una selezione Darwiniana lasci in vita solo quelle veramente performanti (ricordate l esempio giraffa con il collo lungo e giraffe con il collo corto).
Un esempio è l introduzione di un salario minimo, diverso a secondo delle qualifiche etc... su livelli medi europei.

Ma perchè le aziende dovrebbero perdere questo beneficio, finche troveranno una forza lavoro laureata a basso costo NON SINDACALIZZATA?
Dispiace dirlo..ma tale anomali dipende dal fatto che i laureati non si uniscono, pensano alla carriera, invece ormai son carne da macello..
Pensa a uno sciopero degli ingegneri..utopia..

Fino a pochissimi anni fa, laurearsi in Ingegnere nei tempi ufficiali era praticamente impossibile.
Quando io mi sono laureato la media era di nove anni e mezzo e per riuscire a mettercene solo 7 ho dovuto sudare sette camicie.
Mi sembrava di aver stabilito un nuovo record del mondo di velocità.
Per i miei compagni ero un genio.
Adesso sembra cosa da tutti,ma fino a pochissimi anni fa (vedi v.o.) l'ingegneria (almeno a l'Aquila) era veramente difficilissima e solo i migliori riuscivano a superare il primo anno! Non sto scherzando.
E' vero che cosi gli ingegneri si laureavano ad almeno 28 anni,ma poi trovano subitissimo lavoro ed a tempo indeterminato (lavori spesso di responsabilità) quindi le cose funzionavano!!
Voglio dire: l'Italia un ottima università ce l'aveva sul serio,ma ha preferito distruggerla con una riforma orrenda...
Adesso i ragazzi si laureano prestissimo, fanno l'università a razzo, ma a cosa serve se poi devono restare per anni disoccupati?
O al massimo faranno miseri lavori mal pagati aspettando il miracolo..
le aziende non decollano perchè in Italia nessuno fa il lavoro che dovrebbe fare, se si tiene un laureati in lingue, scienze politiche o lettere a fare il receptionist le ipotesi sono due: o si ha manodopera qualificata da sprecare (ma tutto dovrebbe funzionare alla perfezione!) o chi si occupa di risorse umane e selezione del personale dovrebbe passare alla reception e il laureato alla reception prendere il suo posto...bisogna essere flessibili no? magari le cose cambierebbero...
Vincenzo, io non condivido tutto quello che dici, putroppo ci sono delle laureee che sono solo uno spezzettamento di vecchi corsi e che quindi servono solo ad affollare il già dissestato mercato del lavoro italiano, però credimi, ci sono persone valide, che, anche uscite con dei bei voti e non solo da facoltà umanistiche, se ne stanno fare lavori dequalificanti...perchè il lavoro che svolgono loro lo fa qualcuno senza la minima competenza. ti dico questo per esperienza personale.
So di cosa stai parlando perché anch'io sono fra le migliaia di ragazze che, dopo aver conseguito la laurea in lingue, si è ridotta a candidarsi a posizioni di receptionist o segretaria. Se durante gli studi qualcuno mi avesse detto che il mio futuro sarebbe stato questo, mi sarei fatta una risata. Quando si è studenti, e lo sai bene, si hanno progetti, sogni, speranze. In più, io ero brava, modestia a parte. Immaginavo di andare all'estero, trasferirmi magari in Uk e costruire lì la mia carriera, partendo però da uno stage, visto che andare alla cieca e ridursi a fare la cameriera nei pub è una roba da studentelli e non da adulti. Ci ho provato, cari miei, a cercare una possibilità di tirocinio di questo tipo, ma l'aiuto che mi ha dato l'uni dopo laureata è stato...zero. Uno zero rotondo. Tante promesse di colloqui e niente fatti. Allora ho provato da sola, ho cercato anche in Germania. Niente. In effetti, esci dall'ateneo col pezzo di carta e cadi nel baratro, ti rendi conto di essere un signor Nessuno, in mezzo a milioni di altri. E' un problema comune soprattutto ai laureati in materie umanistiche, allora mi chiedo che senso abbia mantenere aperte tutte queste facoltà, forse sarebbe il caso di ridurle a semplici corsi post-diploma x chi volesse fare poi l'insegnante (e anche in quel caso....auguri), o quantomeno dare delle informazioni veritiere a chi si immatricola sugli sbocchi REALI di quella facoltà. Alla fine, quando non si trova lavoro si finisce per accettare tutto quello che arriva, con la conseguenza di accedere a professioni di basso livello e senza prospettive concrete per il futuro. A un posto di receptionist può arrivare anche una ragazzina 19enne con il diploma di maestra d'asilo, è la verità. E' un lavoro che ho fatto anch'io e mi stava venendo la depressione, non scherzo. Me ne sono andata e ho cercato un'altra strada, approdando a un lavoro stagionale (ma ben retribuito) in una casa di moda: anche questo di livello infimo ma che, se non altro per il guadagno, mi dà un minimo di soddisfazione. E ho 30 anni.
leggo che siete in diversi nelle mie stesse condizioni..io ho una laurea vecchio ordinamento in ligue e letterature straniere, conseguita a padova in 5 anni (quindi in tempo perfetto)all'età di 24 anni, con un tanto bello quanto inutile 110.ho cercato lavoro per un anno prima di trovarlo. ero partita con grandi ambizioni, ma ho capito ben presto come girava (e gira) la ruota, quindi mi sarei accontentata di qualsiasi cosa.. impiegata, segretaria, anche magazziniera... ma niente.la gente con il diploma di ragioneria o la terza media aveva sempre la meglio su di me. oppure venivano assunte ragazzine fresche di "lauree" nuovo ordinamento, che non sapevano nemmeno parlare italiano, figurarsi l'inglese. l'unica cosa per la quale potevo andare bene erano gli stages, ovvero lavori come una disgraziata e paga zero. dopo un anno giusto, non so con quale colpo di fortuna, ho avuto quello che per molti laureati è una vera e propria utopia: un contratto a tempo indeterminato. per che lavoro??? receptionist alberghiera! una laurea non serve, però bisogna sapere molto bene le lingue straniere ( e comunque le mie colleghe parlano un inglese che mi fa vergognare e va bene lo stesso... mah..). Questo ha passato il convento.

Cara Alessia..niente proprio in contrario alla Laurea in Lingue..parlavo dell'esigenza forse un pò troppo tirata del dover ricercare persone laureate in lingue per fare la receptionist.
Se ti va di girare il mondo è una buona scelta e poi all'estero con la conoscenza (SERIA!) delle lingue puoi anche vivere con lavori che possono permetterti di vivere nel frattempo che la perfezioni.
Fai quello che ti piace..ma tieni sempre in conto che non è semplice in Italia..
Ma ormai si sa che il futuro dell' Italia NON è in Italia...
E comunque è bello scrivere dopo un pò quà su... ho fatto finalmente la mia scelta, dove continuo le lingue, ma le applico anche ad altre materie... Management delle imprese turistiche.
Nel frattempo sì, studio lingue anche grazie a corsi pomeridiani extra, internet e viaggi vari...
Ho promesso alla mia passione di non abbandonarla mai... =)
